Been getting some emails over the past week…

Asking me what’s going on - And why I’m not posting anymore.

Refer to the post previous to this; The blog is still open though technically incase I decide to come back one day, it’s also an easy accessible archive of previous work.

So yea - I’m sorry that I’m not around anymore, but you can still read my material and even contact me on Twitter @CapnRaccoon If you’re interested.

It’s been quite some time

I feel bad for leaving you guys all those months ago - But I’ve been busy. I was sort of surprised you guys were still following me.

If you’re still waiting for me to post more regularly, it might take some time? But, incase you missed my previous post, I’m working all over the place nowadays - I’m also a freelance game journalist now (Getting paid and everything!).

You can find me over at http://pixelsordeath.com/ mainly; You can also find my preview on Skyrim up over that here.

I also write news for http://robotgeek.co.uk/ occasionally.

Also; If you’re looking for writers and willing to pay, drop me a message and let me know - I can email you my C.V and such, it’s a little more impressive than “I like to say fuck in my articles”.

It is with great sadness

That I write this post.

You may have noticed that recently this place has been some what dead; And over the past few months, things have come to a stand still.

Well, I bring to you today some sad news - Or atleast, a little sad.

This week I begin writing for Robot Geek AND BuyPoe; Whilst you will be able to read my articles over on both of these sites, I’m afraid I won’t have the time to update FYG Articles any more.

You can however, follow my personal Tumblr here and like I said before, you can look me up on both Robot Geek and BuyPoe.

I wish you all the best of luck and I am oh-so-very grateful that you’ve all shown interest and all followed me through this interesting journey.

Much love from the FYG Articles team (THAT’S JUST ME BTW.)

Halo 4

E3 2011

Whoa.

Halo 4 brings us back to Master Chief after leaving us on that cringe worthy cliff hanger known as Halo 3.

Whether or not this is what fans want is disputable, I personally enjoyed the ODST story and wouldn’t mind them back (Oh C’mon, it was practically the cast of Firefly)

Presumably the story will follow on from Master Chief floating about in space, the trailer sort of leads you to think so at least.

Minecraft 360 - Mojang games

Bit of a shocker here; After Mojang announcing that Minecraft will be hitting the Experia play, it will now also be hitting Xbox360.

No more details are announced aside from the trailer’s quite lvague “Coming Soon…”

Mass Effect 3 - Bioware

E3 2011

After announcing that Mass Effect 3 will be released early next year (March infact) this new gameplay trailer should keep you excited; It should also justify the wait as it looks gorgeous.

Fable: A Journey - Lionhead

E3 2011 Microsoft conference

British developer LionHead have left us with this teaser of their latest Fable title; Quite unsurprising considering they were developing Fable 3 whilst Fable 2 was being developed.

Peter Molyneux also revealed last year that he was planning up to seven Fable titles.

Whilst this teaser features no game play it does feature a famous well known Fable character; Theresa, the blind seeress; AKA, The original Fable hero’s sister.

As one of Microsoft’s biggest in house developers it’s no surprise that LionHead were here to release at least a teaser of their newest game.

E3

E3 launches today; For those excited and willing to watch it live I’m willing to try and start a live chat room for all those who want to chat whilst E3 is on.

Would anyone be interested in participating in this?

You can always follow E3 posts on Twitter and I’ll be regularly updating trailers and such as they’re made available on here.

So, whilst we’re hitting up with the E3 hype (Which starts at 5pm GMT or 9am PST) what are we most looking forward to?

I made some predictions a while back about E3 including announcements about Mass Effect 3, Project Cafe, Pokemon 3DS and The Old Republic - And with most of those 99% right, I’m quite proud.

But how about you guys? What did you predict? and more importantly, what are you most looking forward to?

Dot on the AR cards.

Back when I first heard about the 3DS capability to perform augmented reality, I knew it was only a matter of time before Gamefreak used that technology to create some sort of crazy Pokemon fun.

Here are some of the first Screen shots from Nintendo’s latest free app for the 3DS; The Pokedex.

Not only does the Pokedex allow you to view all your favourite Pokemon on screen in full 3D using the 3DS ground breaking 3D technology, but it also lets you use the in built AR system to look at your Pokemon walking around in the real world.

Allegedly the animations for the 3D AR figures are far too detailed to be only used in a free Pokedex app, so presumably Nintendo have another Pokemon title on the go, expect to hear about this at next week’s E3 conference.
